Brand New 9-Hole Golf Course
One of our biggest developments this year is our 9-hole mini pitch and putt golf course, located in the beautiful River Meadow. It is already proving hugely popular with guests of all ages – a perfect activity for families looking to relax and have fun together in nature. Take a tour below:

Guests can submit their scorecard for a chance to hold the course record and win a golf-themed prize.

New Photo Competition – Capture Your Magical Memories
We’ve refreshed our much-loved “Magical Memory” competition for 2026! This year, we’re inviting guests to submit their favourite photo from their glamping stay – whether it’s stunning Devon scenery, wildlife, cosy tent moments, or something completely unique.

We will be sharing entries on our social media throughout Advent, and one lucky winner will receive a hamper full of Devon goodies just in time for Christmas! We’re already in love with this early entry featuring our neighbourhood peacock!

Children’s Colouring Competition – Inspired by the River Exe
Our younger glampers can get creative with this year’s colouring competition, inspired by the beautiful River Exe. At the end of our complimentary nature trail, children will find a riverside scene to colour – using realistic tones or their imagination! Thera are two categories – ages 3–7 and 8+. Winners will be chosen at the end of the season, River Exe at Valleyside Escapes with our

Facebook community helping decide the final champions. The prizes are river-related with the younger group winning a Go Fish card game and the older group a Sounds Fishy travel card game.
