June is typically ‘flaming’ and with lighter evenings until around 10pm it is a great time for a glamping break in Devon. There is lot’s happening – take a look at some June event highlights…

Open air cinema at KnightshayesKnightshayes National Trust (~20 minute drive) have a series of Open Air cinema evenings:

    • Friday 7th – Sing-a-long The Greatest Showman
    • Saturday 8th – Mamma Mia
    • Sunday 9th – Pretty Woman

Exeter Cathedral are hosting The Book Market on Sunday 9th June – authors with local literary ties will convene for a series of live talks, panel discussions and there will also be some yummy food!

Exeter Comic Con and Gaming festival takes place at the Westpoint Arena (~30 minute drive) for a one day summer edition with great props, gaming and cosplay on Sunday 16th June.

Exeter Street Food FestivalFood & Drink
Exeter Street Food Festival takes place from the 14-16 June. The opportunity to sample delicious street food from over 25 vendors, there will also be craft beers, cocktails and entertainment. This is a family-friendly and free event!

For Father’s Day why not treat your Dad to a refreshing pint and tasty pasty on a Stuart Line cruise around Exmouth – only a few places left at time of writing!
